We use a number of social networks or social media platforms to connect with ourselves, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Google Plus, Pinterest and many more. Social media marketing or SMM is the use of those social media platforms to connect with your audience to build your brand, increase sales, and drive website traffic.
There are two types of Social Media Marketing or SMM
1. Paid Marketing (promotes pages or groups with money).
2. Free marketing (by posting or commenting on public groups and public pages).
Everyone has different marketing systems or methods on social media and its totally depend on the business strategy. Nowadays SMM become mandatory for almost all types of business, like startup, growing or already established companies. And the reasons for such higher demands are
- A good relationship is formed with each other.
- quick feedback is available on various types of products or services.
- due to the instant feedback received, it is very easy to decide the inaccuracy of products or services.
- any topic can be discussed. If anyone has a question about a topic, it can be answered directly.
- how to develop a service or product well is known.
- doing A/B test on the fly, using platform analytics to determine winners.

Which social media platform you go for will rely on three very necessary factors:
- Where your target audiences are most concerntrated (usage, groups, etc.)
- Where your customers are most reachable (preferred media, ad targeting, etc.)
- Where your target customers most actively engage with ads (testing required)
